3rd African Girls’ Summit in Niamey

From 16 to 18 November 2021, the Head of State opened the African Girls’ Summit in Niamey, in the presence of the UN Special Representative on Violence against Children and the African Union Commissioner.

SOS Children’s Villages took part with a strong regional delegation and led two panels: youth engagement with States, together with the African Union Youth Division, and action in humanitarian contexts, with Plan International and UNFPA.
