SOS Children’s Villages is created to support children and women affected by the Second World War.
1989
On 20 April, SOS Kinderdorf International and the Republic of Niger sign a partnership agreement.
1993
On 1 April, activities begin with the opening of the SOS Children’s Village in Niamey.
Aujourd’hui
Three SOS Children’s Villages (Niamey, Tahoua, Dosso), schools, medical centres and family strengthening and emergency programmes.
